Synopsis

Senior Year is a story about a girl, named Bailey, who is in her senior year of high school and is having a tough time growing up. She's struggling with school, her body image, and trying to figure out what it is she’s meant to do. The only stable thing in her life seems to be her ostentatious friends, who always find a way to bring smile to her face. When one of her friend's realizes that she's fed up with all of the stress and unhappiness, she pushes them all to go on crazy adventures. Along the way they encounter problems, learn about themselves, their friends, their future, happiness, and simply have fun. Who knew senior year could shape your future? |
Cast
Bailey Smith (Bailey) is a senior in Cypress Bay High school. She grew up in Florida, surrounded by a her large Mexican-American family.
All of her life she has been surrounded by music; her mother was in show choir (and still sings at church) and her father was in an upcoming band and currently is the lead guitarist for their church. Due to her love for music, she is a part of the Cypress Bay chorus and has been the lead in some of the shows, has participated in All County, Candlelight, Show Choir, and is currently one of the officers. Although she loves music, she also has a passion for helping others which is why you will soon find her studying for her BN at, Lee University. She was the perfect fit for the lead because of her glowing personality and astonishing talent. |
Justin Beitz (Justin) is also a senior at Cypress Bay High school, who grew up in Florida. Throughout his 4 high school years he's worked on improving his guitar skills, his drawing skills, and has continuously enrolled in the school's engineering class. As the school year comes to a close, Justin had thought of joining the air force, but isn't sure if that's the right path for him just yet. With no previous acting experience, choosing him to play the male role proved to be a great idea. His awkward personality really worked to create that persona for his character as well. |
Jennifer DeLuna (Jen) is in her senior year of high school, and is of Filipino, Italian, and Colombian decent. As she's grown up she has fallen in love with panting, and her skills have progressed. Her art has been showcased various times, she has sold some of her art work, she was chosen for the school's "Picasso" Senior Superlative, nominated in the Bay's Lighting Oscars, and has taken part in the schools Wynwood like appearance. Although she loves art and plans to paint for many years to come, she is thinking of enrolling at Carnegie Mellon and perusing a college degree in the Sciences. |
Isabella Gimón (M) is in her senior year of high school as well, but hasn't lived in Florida all of her life. When she was younger her and her family moved to Florida from her home country, Venezuela. Her years in Florida, faith, friends and family have truly worked to shape her into the wonderful person that she is today. In the years to come she is hoping to study psychology and work doing research on mental illnesses and so much more. Although her character M embraced some of her true characteristics, she did a great job at delivering the lines and making the character realistic. Minor roles: Gabriela Mujica, Diego, |
